The homeless in Arizona face a particular challenge with a lack of proper clothing, given the temperature extremes we experience from season to season. Your donation of t-shirts, pants, socks, and underwear will give our young Arizonans a sense of self worth and pride.
100% of your cash donations are used to purchase items for our clients, including bus passes, haircuts, food and clothing. Aris is 100% volunteer-run and the few administrative costs we have are covered by our Board.
Obviously, food is a necessity and we’re always grateful for these donations. Suggested items: granola bars, individual snack bags, trail mix, pretzels, gummies, Top Ramen. And don’t forget the dog food for our canine friends!
It’s cold outside and our clients are desperate to keep warm at night. Blankets are in high demand – along with backpacks and sleeping bags.
We are always looking for volunteers to help with our mission: organize a clothing drive, be a mentor, plan a fundraiser, organize donations, help distribute items to our youth. We need you to be a part of the solution!
Gift cards are a special treat for our clients. Even $5 can buy a client a cold drink, food for the evening or hygiene items essential for day-to-day living. Suggested gift cards: CVS, McDonald’s, Wal Mart, Jack in the Box, Subway, Chipotle - but any cards would be greatly appreciated!
The homeless population has the same needs as you and me. Hygiene items are always welcomed! The next time you stay in a hotel, save a bar of soap for our friends. The following items are in high demand: toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, small bars of soap, shampoo, body wash, tissues, tampons/pads, lip balms, hair brushes, baby wipes (for cleaning off) and band-aids.
